I am laughing my ka-toozie off at the "Dr. Hottie" comment....really? Dr. Houston?  Okay...it would really be "funny" if he was reading this (Pam--no forwarding these to Dr. H....).....lol...that makes me laugh--I dunno why!  I guess I have never thought of my surgeon that way....funny.

He is, however, a FANTASTIC surgeon & Centennial is absolutely, positively first rate...in my opinion (although, apparently I am outta the loop on the hot docs....lol!)....and you made an incredible choice!

CONGRATS!!! xo, Micheala.

I told one of my friends on the ds board,he is her surgeon
too. Maybe getting to look at him every so often will
help with the healing process. (I seriously hope he
doesn't read this, I would die of embarrasment)
 Anyway thanks

Trust me when I say I forward nothing with the phrase, "Dr. Hottie" in it! Other things maybe, Dr. Hottie, no, no, no...

I am the proud person who first gave Dr. Houston that nickname... Dr. Hottie.

Every time I go see him, I swear I have to be cautious and say "Dr. Ho....uston" to make sure I don't say Hottie...  that would be so embarrassing!  I figured if there was a McSteamy, there could be a Dr. Hottie

AND, also I hear that the hospital calls him Spanky or something like that but I would never dare ask him about either one.  LOL!

My friend worked at Centennial in the Admitting...  PRN...  and this was a few years back when I watched Grey's Anatamy...  and, we were joking about doctors. She mentioned Dr. H being a cutie, and made the Mcsteamy comment.  As his name starts with H (first and last), I just sorta gave him Dr. Hottie Houston, and we laughed so the nickname has stuck.

Pam if you are reading this, do not tell Dr. H. I would be so embarrased! And it might go to his head LOL.  Seriously though, he was surely there for me when I was really sick, and he helped me through some tough times.  We joke about his nickname...   but honestly he is a very good surgeon.

I can't think of anything better than calling Dr. Houston "spanky" on Thursday at my 6 week appt....just to see his face....what does Spanky mean?  Maybe I should find out before I call him that---don't want to insult the surgeon in charge of my recovery!

I am still laughing...and all this time I thought you girls were recommending him because he's a great surgeon with a great center in a great hospital!  Who knew? :).

I'm not sure what Spanky is for..  The nurse just told me not to call him that! So whether he knows about the nickname, I have no clue! lol.  But I would like to see if you can get it out of him!
